Melanie Sharpe

Mel SharpeMelanie has been around horses for majority of her life, started in the racing industry over 10 years ago as a track work rider for various trainers. To then go on and be a apprentice jockey and riding consistently for many trainers in Queensland. Expanding her knowledge taking things to another level after her apprenticeship to running a small stable in Melbourne, to then returning to Brisbane to be our Racing Manager. NickNick, Robs son has a genuine passion for animals. He is becoming an integral part of the stables and the team of staff. He loves race days and he’s not sure what his favourite horse is at this stage...maybe Jopa or Rapide or Teddy!

AlisonAlison is a very knowledgeable horseperson. She has plenty of experience and enthusiasm to offer in the stable. In her spare time she loves riding her own horses in competitive sport events.

Ashleigh Hall

AshleighAshleigh comes from across the seas New Zealand. Had ponies from a young age and was competitive in all aspects till she turned to head to racing after she finished High school. Ashleigh is a pleasure to have around the stables and shows a lot of compassion for each and every horse. Her personal favourites are Privlaka and Ingeegoodbe.

Kirsty Batson

StefanieKirsty is born and raised in the racing industry with her mother being a Jockey. Competed in all disciplines from Dressage to Show jumping with the horses from a young age. Kirsty has a great work ethic and an even greater passion for all the horses. Her favourite boys in the barn are Red Mahogany and Red Flyer.

Kim Weston

JesseyKim has always had a great love for horses from a young age. Kim has been involved in the racing industry for the last 15yrs riding Track work. In her spare time she is off competing at Show jumping shows. Her favourite horse in the stables is Sheezalady.

Katrina Haslam

BibianaKatrina is born and bred Kiwi. Been riding ponies from a young age doing Pony club, Eventing etc. Did some work experience in a racing stable when she was a young teenager and hasn’t looked back since. Her favourite horse in the barn is Brotherly Secret.

Clint Harkom

KylieClint has a long extensive background in the thoroughbred industry working for some leading trainers in the past like Bart Cummings, Gerald Ryan and Peter Moody. Relocating to the sunny Queensland to join our team where he holds plenty of experience and is a great asset to the team. Clint has a great passion for the horses and a couple of his favourites are Kubis and Mehmeto.

James Healy

HortenseJames brings a lot of enthusiasm to the stable along with plenty of horse knowledge. He loves the racing industry as he grew up being surrounded by it with his family being involved in it as he was growing up. He’s favourite horses in the stable are Big Pussy Cat and Von Rosen.

Chris McMullen - Farrier

ChrisresizeAAn extremely important member of the stable team is the Farrier, Chris McMullen. Chris has been with Rob for 10 years and is a very highly rated farrier with in the industry. He has a very good working relationship with Rob and his team.
